When it comes to giving away neuters breeders often have extremely different opinions. There are those who will keep each and every cat, no matter what happens, even if this means that some of them will have to live separately on different floors, in cages or even in single rooms all by themselves, because they don't get along with the others anymore. Those breeders are either extemely egoistic or just afraid that other people might have the impression they only give away their neuters to have more room for new breeding cats. Very stupid in my eyes and not the right way to treat individual human beings at all...
Breeders who ALWAYS think about the well-being of their beloved cats first, will soon realize that once in a while they just HAVE to give away a cat that obviously demonstrates against the others. Sometimes of course this hurts very badly. Yet we think this is always the best decision in the sense of the cat, for only we - as their trusted humans - can find our furry kids a new (perfect) home where they will be loved and cared for like they truly deserve.
Below are photos and descriptions of several cats who shared our life for a couple of years but had to leave for various reasons. We are still in contact with most of them, receiving updates and photos and never ever having to regret any of those decisions until now (2010)!!

Lara, my "First Lady" and my one and only favorite ever!!! At the age of 3 she suddenly decided to hate all other cats except her kittens. So I had to give her away to a new home. There she was allowed to go outside and she enjoyed very much quarreling with any other cat that did not manage to disappear fast enough! I heard just a few days ago (it is now July 2003 and she has reached the age of 10) that she is still happily chasing other cats!
July 4, 2003: I finally dared to phone her "can opener" and was delighted to hear that she is perfectly allright, indeed still chasing other cats, going with her owner on vacation to France every year, living in a tent, running completely free there, but always returning in time to go back home with him... which sometimes means for him to wait for a couple of hours (about 4 or 5...), but that's perfectly okay! Knowing this brightens up my day and makes me extremely happy!!!!!!
February 2005: We finally went to visit Lara and she (12 years old) is just as beautiful as ever!!!
