Cleo von Chi Cama (Tootsie)

(April 28, 1988 - July 1, 2003)

"Tootsie" was my first big forest-cat-love and was meant to be the start of my small cattery. But after a while I found out that she was infertile and would probably never have kitten. Therefore she was neutered at the age of 2 years. She belonged to my life for so many years and was a very beautiful, kind and friendly lady, social to all other cats and never making any problems at all! During the past years I only saw her once in a while, because she lived - together with Filomena and Nixon - in my husband's and our daughter's home.  She finally left us forever at the blessed age of 15 on July 1, 2003. She really wasn't feeling very well lately, therefore I'm glad that she will not be suffering any longer. She's probably very happy now in a nice and cuddly cat-nest way beyond the rainbowbridge, dreaming about catching mice and purring day and night...

Housecat Benni (male)

(1977 - 1995)

Benni shared my life for almost 18 years. He joined me when he was barely 5 months old. Together we had many, many ups and downs, and he certainly lived the so-called 7 (or had it even been 14?) lifes! He was poisened by rat-poison many, many times and his guardian angel was very busy all the time, especially when Benni decided to lay in the middle of the road, cleaning his coat very thoroughly... He was never really thrilled by my idea of breeding Norwegian Forest Cats, but after the third and fourth new kitten he eventually stopped complaining. When he turned more and more frail and infirm I had to have him put to sleep, although I had always hoped and wished that he would just fall asleep forever and never wake up again all by himself...

Clara v. Nordkap (Clärchen)

(28.09.1988 - Summer 1993)

Clärchen enriched my life for only 5 short years. Due to given medication of anabolics by her breeders at the age of less than 12 weeks her uterus was damaged and she could only have very badly deformed kitten. When I realized that after two desasterous litters and a lot of investigating I had her neutered at once. She died at the age of 5 after suffering from a real bad meningitis, which - to my knowledge - cats cannot be cured of until today.

Gelriafelix's Bodil (Humphrey)

(12.08.1990 - Summer 93)

"Humphrey", my first Norwegian male, only lived for 3 years. When he died in an accident I kept his beautiful black-white daughter Lara Floruska from the current litter. I had other males later on, but none of them I loved as much as him!!! I'm quite sure that one of these days I will have a black & white (or black-smoke & white) male again...

Down below you can see a small video about my never forgotten furry pals, created by a very kind new e-mail contact named Anja.

Dear Anja, this video has been driving tears into my eyes again and again... Once again THANK YOU SO MUCH for this lovely present!!!
