News

01.05. It's Labour Day today! And Pollux is doing his very best to please Berta's desire... ;-)) ...and who knows? Should the two of them be successful this time we might even have a 2nd Litter of US-Presidents & First Ladies on 4th of July...

29.04. Okay, even longtime breeders are still learning... Berta has been putting us on all the way!!! Despite of showing all signs of pregnancy (incl. gaining weight!) she started singing "dirty" songs again today... :-(( Let's just hope the 2nd try will be more successful!

21.04. Berta still doesn't look pregnant at all but she certainly behaves pregnant! With her everything is different from what we experienced with our other females... At the moment she's very talkative and just loves to clean the others. Preferably when they are eating because they can't (don't want to) get away then... ;-))

06.04. Meanwhile I'm pretty sure that Berta has a "sweet secret"... ;-) Despite of eating very little she has already gained some weight... :-)) New pics of Mamie on USP-Litter page.

11.03. Berta & Pollux have started their first Honeymoon... Should it be "successful" we'd be looking forward (once again) to May kittens. If we'd leave the yearly plans/decisions up to our 3 furry Ladies most probably all of them would have their kittens in May just like the "wild" cats... Sorry Ladies, unfortunately this doesn't match our plans!

04.03. News about Ida are quite regularly available on Angi's page which is linked on my GHI Litter page now. Why should I bother asking Angi for pics (or copy them from her page frequently) when all the great news, photos and movies about this very happy cat are available there...? ;-)

05.02. News from the 3 "terrorists" (Heinrich, Max & Paul) on pages GHI-Litter + Tatort-Litter. I think the three furry guys have developped very nicely and I really like the new photos!!

15.01. FINALLY I've managed to load up a small video on my "Memories" Page (down at the bottom) today. This video was already created several months ago by a very sweet e-mail contact of mine named Anja. I think it's very touching...

03.09. Anton was on vacation in Korsika... Many lovely photos on our ABC-Litter page! Also some new pics of Gina (Querida from our Q-Litter) and lovely June-pics of Friedrich (ABC-Litter).

30.08. "Kylie" gave birth to 6 healthy & pretty kittens this morning (very convenient time of the day!!) Daddy Rio managed to forward his blue very dominantly... But most of them also inherited the white paws and chest of Mommy... Except one all kittens are carrying a white tail-tip in sizes "M" to "XXL"...:-)

13.08. 12-weeks-pics of our 3 little tigers. Heinrich moved to his new home today and we already received some photos in which he's looking quite content :-)

12.08. Congratulations to the first birthday of our ABC-Litter (Anton, Berta, Cäsar, Dora, Emil & Friedrich) and many further years for the 6 lovely sweeties (most of all of course for our Berta!) with their 4- and 2-legged friends!!!!! :-)

10.06. During the past weeks I have visited our "ex-kittens" Anton, Friedrich, Oona & Kuno as well as Caruso & Calimero in their respective homes. I must say that I'm extremely pleased to find them so lovely and well taken care of and most of all so deeply loved! Today I would like to express my entire gratefulness (also for the friendly welcome of course) to all of their devoted slaves!!! :-))

08.06. Congratulations to Cherie, Charly, Calimero & Caruso from our C-Litter to their 10th birthday and many happy returns of the day!!!

01.06. "Grouchy" Mäxx has turned 7 today! We will hopefully have many further healthy and funny years with him... :-))

28.05. Single photos of our little tigers finally! It was extremely difficult because all 3 of them are screaming like hell and making their Mommy nervous...

Our former breeding cat Akira vom Hexengrund died of a heart attack a few days ago... We are very sad that she "only" lived for 12 years but we certainly appreciate that she had a very happy and natural life with her folks, living in a nice house & garden with a very friendly neighbourhood. A huge big THANKS to Svenja & Christian who granted our "Kira" such a great life!!!

We deeply regret that our "old" Pompi (Elessar's Pompidou) finally had to cross the rainbowbridge today at the blessed age of 17... A huge big THANKS to his people in Hagen for granting him a great natural cat life with nothing left to be desired! All of you who have read my info pages know that I have always been "pro" running free for cats. Pompi has proven once again that this is absolutely okay. THANKS again and please stay in touch!!

Together with Anna & Alex I'm extremely sad that Yuppie "av plysj" (who would have turned 6 in Spring) had to cross the rainbowbridge yesterday... Knowing that especially Anna has always loved him with all of her heart I would like to thank both of you for the all the love and attention you gave our little funny redhead!!!

We sadly say good-bye to Ernie "av plysj" who was severely ill and died yesterday at the age of 15 1/2 years... But we are also very happy to know that he had a long happy life running free whenever he wanted. Once again THANKS to his owners for letting him live so naturally!!!
